Build trusted enterprise knowledge in 90 days
Most organizations do not have an information shortage.
They have a trust, ownership and usability problem.
Critical knowledge is distributed across systems, documents, spreadsheets, meetings, inboxes and experienced employees. AI can make that information easier to access, but it cannot decide which source is authoritative, who owns the answer or what action is permitted.
The Enterprise Knowledge Accelerator helps an organization build a governed knowledge foundation around one high-value decision or workflow.
The engagement is practical, focused and designed to produce a measurable operating result within 90 days.
Where the Accelerator sits
The Enterprise Knowledge Accelerator is the 90-day build stage within EIG's practical engagement pathway. Organizations may begin with the free AI Maturity Assessment, progress to a Retail Intelligence Discovery Workshop to assess the opportunity and define the roadmap, and then use the Accelerator to build, govern and operationalize the required enterprise knowledge foundation.
AI Maturity Assessment · Retail Intelligence Discovery Workshop · Enterprise Knowledge Accelerator · Continuous Intelligence Loop
The Workshop and the Accelerator are complementary, not competing: the Retail Intelligence Discovery Workshop identifies, assesses and scopes the opportunity; the Enterprise Knowledge Accelerator builds and operationalizes the solution; the Continuous Intelligence Loop maintains, measures and expands the capability.
What the accelerator addresses
The accelerator is designed for situations where:
- important decisions depend on fragmented knowledge;
- different teams interpret the same issue differently;
- experienced people hold undocumented business logic;
- current search tools return information without context;
- AI pilots lack trusted source material;
- policies and exceptions are difficult to reconcile;
- ownership is unclear;
- the business wants a practical first step rather than a broad transformation program.
The 90-day approach
Days 1–30: Discover the decision
We begin inside the business process.
Activities include:
- executive and stakeholder interviews;
- decision and workflow mapping;
- observation of how work is actually performed;
- identification of critical experts;
- review of documents, systems, spreadsheets and informal sources;
- assessment of authority, duplication and contradiction;
- definition of baseline performance;
- agreement on the target business outcome.
Deliverables: decision inventory; current-state workflow; knowledge-source map; critical-expert map; intelligence-risk assessment; pilot scope and success measures.
Days 31–60: Build the foundation
We curate, structure and govern the knowledge required for the selected decision.
Activities include:
- source validation;
- duplicate and conflict resolution;
- expert-knowledge capture;
- definition of business terms and relationships;
- creation of reusable knowledge objects;
- assignment of ownership;
- design of review and approval workflows;
- definition of human decision rights;
- creation of the initial governed knowledge layer.
Deliverables: curated knowledge set; knowledge-object model; ownership and governance model; decision rules and exception structure; authoritative-source register; the Enterprise Knowledge Blueprint (the documented design of your knowledge foundation) and the initial governed foundation built to it.
Days 61–90: Apply, test and measure
We introduce the right technology only after the knowledge foundation is ready.
Depending on the use case, this may include:
- governed retrieval;
- AI-assisted answers;
- evidence-based recommendations;
- decision preparation;
- exception identification;
- workflow routing;
- human approval;
- decision and learning capture.
Deliverables: working pilot; user testing; accuracy and trust evaluation; outcome measurement; operating playbook; scale roadmap; executive results presentation.
What the client receives
By the end of the engagement, the client should have:
- one improved business decision or workflow;
- a governed enterprise knowledge foundation, documented as the Enterprise Knowledge Blueprint;
- a clear authority and ownership model;
- captured expert judgment;
- structured exceptions and decision logic;
- a working AI-assisted use case where appropriate;
- measurable evidence of value;
- a repeatable method for the next use case;
- a prioritized roadmap for scale.

What makes the accelerator different
Decision-first
We do not begin by uploading every document. We begin with a decision that matters.
Forward-deployed
We work close to the people and processes where the intelligence is created and used. We interview, observe, question, map, validate and build alongside the business.
Governance-first
Authority, ownership, exceptions and human decision rights are designed before automation.
AI-agnostic
We use the technology that fits the use case, existing environment, risk and desired outcome.
Outcome-based
The pilot must improve something measurable. A demonstration is not the objective.
The result
The Enterprise Knowledge Accelerator is not a generic AI strategy exercise.
It is a focused build that helps the organization uncover how the business actually thinks, convert that intelligence into a governed foundation and apply it to a real operating problem.
Discover the intelligence. Govern the knowledge. Improve the decision.
